Family History Conference
Northwest Arkansas

The tenth annual Family History Conference of Northwest Arkansas will be held on Saturday, 26 September 2020. We conduct seminars and workshops for beginning, intermediate, and experienced genealogists to help advance their knowledge and appreciation of their ancestors.  We are dedicated to enhancing the study of family history and genealogical records, and of the principles of sound genealogical research. If you have a desire to find your ancestors and to interact with, connect with, and learn from experienced genealogists, come join us for the 2020 conference.

Spread the Word

We strive to reach as many people interested in genealogy as possible. You can help by spreading the word. Tell your family, friends, or interested acquaintances about the conference.

Here you will find the 2019 Conference Handouts and Syllabi. You are welcome to view, print, or download any of them.

Some special announcements

  1. We will again offer a box lunch option. Once registration opens, navigate to the Class Schedule page and find the link to purchase a lunch in the Lunch section below the schedule. Be certain to keep the ticket safe and bring it with you. It will be needed to claim your lunch. Bottled water will be available gratis throughout the day.

  2. The class handouts and syllabi will be online next year, if an instructor submits any. Check back on Friday, 25 September 2020, when there will be a link to the class handouts on the Syllabi and Handouts page. Check back on Sunday, 27 September 2020, when there will be an additional link to the syllabi that we have from the instructors.

  3. Our WiFi will be shut off because it is not strong enough to bear the load of so many people. Your cellular-enabled devices will still be able to access the internet via your carrier's network.
